Eli Javier was a kind man. He was nice to me in every way you can think of. He was Godly, funny and always ready to lend a hand . I will truly miss him. May his soul and souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace….Amen!!!
Br. Eli Javier was a very good man. He was so kind and considerate to me and I believe to everyone that crossed his path. He went the extra mile to help. He loved to share the burdens of others. Without mentioning to him, he intuitively knew when one had concerns, and wouldn’t wait to be told, but was always eager to help. He always saw the good in others. He was a very humble man. He sincerely loved God, and desired to please God through service and charity towards his fellow humans. He had such a great sense of humor, and would use this attribute to douse a tense environment. I am still finding it had to believe that he is no more with us. I will surely miss him. I take consolation in the fact that he lived a good life, and so I trust that he will be resting peacefully in the bossom of our Lord. May his soul and souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace….Amen!!!
I am so very sorry to hear about Eli’s passing Pam and Gabriel. What a tragic loss for both of you and your family. Eli was such a kind, thoughtful person who we are all better off for knowing. I will always be grateful for his friendship and the many years I had the pleasure of working with him. He was always so proud of you Gabriel and I’m sure your Dad will be guiding you always from the other side. My sincere and deepest sympathy to all of you during this very difficult time. God bless.
Bro. Eli’s passing feels so sudden and surreal.
The last time I saw him was during the Kids’ Day Camp, where he volunteered in the kitchen—just one of the many ways he gave his time so generously. I never imagined it would be the last time I’d see him.
May you find joy in your eternal service in the House of the Lord.
Rest in peace, Bro. Eli.
I’m completely heartbroken we played many games togather, one of the most beautiful human being.
My condolences to the Javier family, I will sorely miss competing with Eli and his good cheer. It’s been a pleasure getting to know and connect with him. May his memory be a blessing.

We are so devastated with the passing of Eli. Having worked with him for several years and playing poker with Eli for 40 plus years, we will miss his sense of humour, his advise on the stock market and all the new games he introduced to the group. We will certainly miss Eli and wish to pass along our sincerest condolences to Pam and Gabriel

From my family where each of us got to know you through fond memories delivered during noisy gathering on a regular basis. Please accept our sympathy and support during this difficult time.
Eli was my Guardian Angel at Scotia when COVID hit. So reasonable, level headed and kind. He kept encouraging me and telling me that Claudette and him would make sure I was supported. He is one of the only people I stayed in touch with. One of the only people I wanted to keep knowing. I’m heartbroken for you Pam and for your son. He spoke often and lovingly about you both.
We are so very saddened to hear about Eli’s passing. Pam and Gabriel, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Eli was such a lovely and kind person; he will be greatly missed.

O meu amigo, I can’t believe you’re gone. Wow, just last week we went to watch the tennis at York University and you were telling me about your plans for the coming weekend. I never thought it would be the last time we would ever speak again. I’ll miss you. Rest in peace Eli.
My sincerest condolences to Pam and Gabriel.
Saddened to learn of Eli’s passing.
While working with Eli at BNS, he demonstrated every day the best of what we strive to be, technically skilled, knowledgable on a vast breadth of topics yet humble and gracious.
Truly a gentle-man.
I mourn his death.
May God reward Eli for his many earthly good deeds. Leo

Farewell my friend.
I shall always be grateful for the unhesitating welcome and gracious hospitality extended to me by you and family during my initial years in Toronto.
I shall always be happy to have rekindled bonds forged at our alma mater La Salle.
I shall always remember the kind invites on cold dark wintry nights to enjoy Aunty’s delicious caldereta stew and nurturing conversation.
Deepest condolences to Pam, Gabriel and to all family and friends.
Goodbye and Godspeed Eliseo.
Eli was the neighbour everyone knew and liked. He was a wonderful friend. I only learned of his unexpected passing today.
Pam and Gabriel,
Sorry for your loss and please accept our condolences. Eli had a deep passion for tennis and when I joined the club over 25 years ago, Eli was one of the regular guys that I played with. A very kind, caring and sincere warm hearted person. Even today Eli was an active member of club and when he showed up we would have nice laughs and great conversations. Eli will be greatly missed. May the Lord be with you. Rest in Peace.
Br Eli was one of the best Legion of Member we had . Always eager to help in anyway . Always Volunteering with out hesitation . One of the Greatest person I will ever know. I will miss him dearly . May he rest in peace with our Lady and Jesus by his side . See you in another time my dear Brother . My prayers to his son Gabriel and wife Pamela .
I am shocked and saddened by this news. My deepest sympathies go out to your family.
Since I cannot physically able to bid final farewell to my dear baby brother, beginning August 2nd, I started a 40-day Rosary for the repose of Dave’s soul. Pam, Gabriel and Des, I share your griefs and sorrows. Definitely he is in the love and care of Our Lord and will have eternal rest together with Mom, Dad and Bobby. Take good care all–you will always be in my family’s thoughts and love.
Very sad to hear of Eli’s death. We knew each other both as tennis players/executive members and as Scotiabankers. I served as Secretary for 3 years, then relieved him as President of O’Connor Hills Tennis Club, then he spelled me off for 2 years in the middle of my terms. Eli was a generous, fun-loving person, always ready with a smile and a joke. Always had a twinkle in his eye to go along with his mischievous grin. He will be missed at OHTC. Condolences to the family for your loss.
To a wonderful person who was a true friend. I still can’t believe you’re gone. I’m forever grateful to you for the deep conversations and laughs we shared. Goodbye for now my friend until we meet again.
Eli was such a great man. We worked together for many years and shared many many stories and laughs. He was always around to lend a hand and help educate us on our processes and everything at work. I’m so sad to hear of the passing. May his memory be eternal to all of us. May he rest in peace.
Pamela and Gabriel, we are so sorry for your loss. We fondly remember Eli’s kindness and smile while graciously helping out on the various field trips at Northmount school. May you find strength in your memories together as a family.
