Erminio Roberto

elevated TZz43 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Erminio Roberto, who left us on August 23, 2025, at Etobicoke General Hospital.

elevated TZz43 Erminio was born on September 17, 1946, in Gabella, Catanzaro, Italy. As a young boy, he crossed the Atlantic with his family, arriving in Canada by ship on November 8, 1954.

elevated TZz43 He was predeceased by his parents Rosaria (Aiello) Roberto and Antonio Roberto, his brother Giovanni Roberto, and his sister Santina Carpenzano (Joe). He leaves behind his cherished sisters Rose Di Iorio (Fred), Maria Sirianni (Walter), and Teresa Caracciolo, as well as his beloved sister-in-law Francesca Roberto and their families. He also shared a lifelong closeness with his cousins, the Aiello Family, whose bond remained strong through the years.

elevated TZz43 Erminio loved music, especially the timeless songs of Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Much like the music he cherished, Erminio carried a lightness with him — always smiling, always finding the positive, and often seeing the world in his own joyful way.

elevated TZz43 He is remembered with love by his daughter Rosalie Roberto, his son-in-law Emanuele D’Oppido, and his grandson Sebastian D’Oppido.
