elevated frKR9 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Estrellita Reyes Darlucio on June 11, 2026.
elevated frKR9 Born on November 11, 1948, in Manila, Philippines, Estrellita was the beloved daughter of Antonio and Adela Reyes. As one of the eldest children in a large and close-knit family, she embraced responsibility from a young age, helping care for and support her younger siblings. Her strength, generosity, and selflessness would become defining qualities throughout her life.
elevated frKR9 At the age of 26, Estrellita immigrated to Canada, becoming the first in her family to do so. Through her courage, sacrifice, and determination, she helped establish her family’s roots in Canada and paved the way for many of her siblings to follow. She was the heart of her family and a true matriarch whose love and guidance touched generations.
elevated frKR9 Estrellita dedicated 35 years of her life to nursing, caring for others with compassion, kindness, and empathy. She served her patients with the same unwavering devotion she showed her family and friends.
elevated frKR9 Her health challenges over the last decade were relentless, yet she faced them with remarkable resilience and grace. Her strength in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her.
elevated frKR9 Estrellita will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, extended family, and many dear friends. We take comfort in knowing she is now in the loving presence of the Lord and reunited with her beloved husband, family members, and friends who have gone before her.
