Filippo Genovese, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on December 21, 2024, at the remarkable age of 101. Born on October 16, 1923, in the Sicilian town of Aquaficara, Filippo lived a long and extraordinarily healthy life, a testament to his resilience, spirit, and the joy he found in every moment. Though it is a bittersweet experience to have lost our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, we find comfort in celebrating the extraordinary life he led.

Filippo’s passion for gardening was a defining feature of his life. His love for the earth and its bounty brought him immense joy. His flourishing gardens were a source of pride, beauty, and sustenance for his family and community.
