elevated blRyt It is with deep sorrow that we announce Giuseppina Boccia (nee Iacoucci) passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025 at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. She was 91. Giuseppina was born on February 24, 1934 to Flavia and Vittorio in Scifelli, an Italian village in Frosinone, Italy. She immigrated to Canada in 1953, joining her husband, the late Genesio Boccia in Toronto and they were married for 70 years.
elevated blRyt She is survived by her son Bruno Boccia (Yolanda) and daughter Gina Puppi (Dino), and is forever the beloved Nonna Pina to Nina (Khalil), Erica (Frank), and Alexander (Sylvia), Lauren (Andrew), Sara (Domenic) and cherished Bisnonna to great-grandchildren Christian, Michael, and Vivienne. She will be missed dearly by her surviving sister Maria Rotundo, as she joins in heaven her predeceased brother Renato Iacoucci, sister-in-law Lucia Iacoucci, and brother-in-law Domenico Rotundo. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends in the community.
elevated blRyt The family extends its sincere gratitude to the personal support workers, nurses, and doctors at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, Humber River Hospital, and Sunrise Seniors Living for their care and compassion.
