elevated jOOHy Born on February 27, 1939, in Klanac, Croatia, Ivan Radosevic lived a remarkable 86 years before passing away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, on July 27, 2025. A devoted husband to his beloved wife Anka for 56 wonderful years, Ivan built a strong and loving family together with her. He leaves behind his three children: Matilda and her son Andrew; Tomislav and his wife Leslie with their son Owen; and Marko and his wife Andrijana with their children Pavo, Dalia, and Niko. Ivan was predeceased by his brothers Petar, Grgo, Mate, and Mile, and his sisters Lucija, Manda, and Matilda. He is survived by his sisters Ankica and Dragica. Ivan will be remembered most for his unwavering will and determination. Deeply proud of his Croatian roots and equally of the life he built in Canada, Ivan’s greatest pride and joy was always his family.

Dear Anka, Matilda, Tom, Marko and families,
It is with profound sadness that we received the news of Ivan’s passing, our dear friend and neighbour of 44 years.
Ivan was a constant presence in the neighbourhood as he was often seen walking, chatting and playing bocce in the area. Ivan was very sociable and developed many friendships over the years. Most importantly, he was always the first to lend a helping hand.
Ivan took great pride in his family and in his garden. He was happy to share stories about his children and grandchildren and very enthusiastic to share the many fruits and vegetables he had grown. His tomatoes were outstanding!
We will miss seeing Ivan sitting and relaxing on his front porch and waving us over to share the latest updates. Rest gently, Ivan. You will be fondly remembered by your neighbours Marsha, Eros, Adriano and Gianmarco.
