Jim passed away peacefully in his 94th year on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at North York General Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Charlyn Atyeo, who was by his side at the end. Cherished father of Harry (Anne), the late Brian, Richard (Jane), Vincent, and Paula (Ron Bell). Proud grandfather of Jamie (Melissa), Robert (Jessica), Mary Anne (Robert Manias), Ashley, Anthony (Christina), Sarah, Richard (Sara), Michael, Victoria (Matthew Vadori), and Natalie. Jim will also be fondly remembered by his 12 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

elevated VUXij Jim was an entrepreneur who completed many homes in the GTA and avidly enjoyed developing plans for his homes and other projects for most of his life. He was a former trustee with the Metropolitan Separate School Board and the Etobicoke Board of Education for many years. In his younger days, he managed various drum corps, which played for Grey Cup and Santa Claus parades in Toronto. 

elevated VUXij A private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the MS Society are appreciated by the family.
