elevated P5Uaw João Cota Martins, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on November 3, 2024. João was born on October 21, 1940, in Terceira, Azores, to Alvaro Martins and Maria Augusta Cota.

elevated P5Uaw He was a devoted husband to his wife of 57 years, Candida. João’s greatest joy came from his family, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his children: Agueda Terakawa (Brian), João Martins (Sara), and Cristina Martins. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to Eric (Danyka), Nicole (Matthew), and Ethan. João was also a cherished great-grandfather to Brody and Hailey, who brought him immense happiness.
