elevated eWb1Y Peacefully at home on Tuesday February 5, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of Rachelle Milne. Beloved father of Daryle and Nicole (Frank Aponte). Beloved step-father of Holly (Byron Depass), Nikki (Jason Coughlan), Tiffany (Anthony Byrne), and Danny (Mallory Milne). Cherished Opa of James, Brooklyn, Olivia, Chase, Hunter, Leila, Phoenix, Mateo, Sofia, Shayla, Carter, Hannah, and the late Lucia. Friends & family may call Thursday February 21, from 11:30am until time of service at The Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. Funeral service 1:30pm in The Chapel of St. Joseph with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research at Sunnybrook Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

We thank God so much that He gave us the opportunity in our life to know such a special person like Lloyd.
We knew him for a short time but we are so gratefull.
We are also very gratefully that he came to Curacao to visit my mother during her illness. My mother was also very happy to see Lloyd here in Curacao. She passed away on September 15 2017.
I am very happy for the opportunity to visit Surinam during the Family Reunion organized by Lloyd on January 27 2018.

Just sitting here in Ottawa reminiscing and for whatever reason, over 35 years later, the name Lloyd Hermelyn and Rova Products came to mind. I had just came back from Saudi Arabia after an assignment with Bell Canada International in 1985. As it turns out I was assigned to the Bell Canada purchasing group in downtown Toronto. That is where I’m met Lloyd. When you go back that many years in time it’s either for a bad reason or a good and in this case it was definitely a good. Lloyd spent as much time in our office as we did. It seems like he always showed up just before lunch and always suggested that we go for dim sum or whatever, and almost every time we would head out as group, for lunch with Lloyd. We never failed to have lots of laughs and it seems like we also got a sneak preview of the latest potentially new
products coming down the pipe from Rova. He always had a couple of pockets full of switches and wires and whatever to show us. We always had lots of laughs.
When I decided to goggle Lloyd and Rova I really saddened to hear of his passing.
I only had the pleasure of working with Lloyd for about five years but I remember him as being such a nice nice person not to mention that he was a great supplier. My condolences go out to Lloyds family.
I worked for Lloyd at Rova Products for close to 10 years. He was a kind, generous soul and treated everyone with respect and dignity! He was truly one of a kind.
