elevated D0ecy It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lucia Valerie Ventura, who passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, at the age of 64.
elevated D0ecy Born on September 26, 1960, in Toronto, Lucia was a devoted sister, a loving aunt and great-aunt, and a cherished member of her family. She was the beloved daughter of the late Emilio and Yolanda Ventura, whom she loved dearly and now joins in eternal rest. Lucia is survived by her sister Franca (Giuseppe), her brother Aldo (Josephine), and her beloved nieces and nephews Ester, Michael (Nahal), and AJ. She also leaves behind her treasured great-niece and great-nephew, Giovanni and Isabella, who brought her immense joy.
elevated D0ecy Lucia was known for her quiet strength and unwavering devotion to her family. When she was able and well, she was always present – offering her love, support, and care to those around her. Her deep compassion and willingness to help will be remembered by all who knew her. For many years, Lucia faced significant health challenges with extraordinary courage and resilience. Despite the hardships, she remained a fighter -meeting each day with quiet bravery and dignity.
elevated D0ecy She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A service will be held by the family to honor Lucia’s life and legacy at Queen of Heaven funeral home and cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lymphedema Framework.

My condolences to the whole Ventura family, She will forever be missed. I have so many memories of her as i was a little girl. Rest in peace Lucy🤍
I remember Lucy from elementary school and although I didn’t know her well I do recall her having a great sense of humour and made classes a lot of fun. She also had a great sense of style far beyond the rest of us. My condolences to the family and all those who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
