elevated N6NMV On August 16, 2023, God called Margaret “Margie” Anne Pankovčin (née Kušnir) home. Born on January 4, 1936 in Toronto, Ontario, she passed peacefully at the age of 87, with her family prayerfully gathered around her.

elevated N6NMV She will be forever cherished by her loving husband of sixty-eight years of marriage, Michael Sr., her four dear children, Charlene (Richard), Michael Jr. (Linda), Tomas James (predeceased), and Christine, and her six grandchildren, Phillip (Jessica), Melissa (Steve), James, Tomas, Cheyenne (Davide), and Canyon (Melissa).

elevated N6NMV All those who know Margie will deeply miss her radiant smile, exuberant laugh, and delectable home cooking, and will never forget her performing Slovak folk duets with her husband, and singing in the St. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church choir for many years. Her closest family members will recall finding her reading health and wellness articles late at night with a cup of tea and word search book nearby, and praying the rosary for her loved ones before bedtime.

elevated N6NMV She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends she met on her journey, and remembered for her warmth, affection, selflessness, positive outlook on life, quirky sense of humour, and unwavering faith and determination.
