elevated Jy69Y Maria Clotilde Sousa, age 87, of Toronto passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 14, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and ovarian cancer. Born in Poços, São Vicente Ferreira, São Miguel Açores, Portugal. Clotilde immigrated to Canada with her children in 1974, to join her husband. Clotilde was the wife of the late Evaristo de Sousa of Lombinha, Bretanha, São Miguel Açores, Portugal. Daughter of the late Joao Tavares Pereira (Fenais da Luz) and Rosa de Sousa Almeida (São Vicente Ferreira). Sister of the late Norberto and Eduarda both also deceased. Clotilde is survived by six adult children; João, Fátima, Carlos, Manuela, Cidália and Paulo and ten grandchildren; Steven, Kevin, Christopher, Sean, Ashley, Michael, Mathew, Brian, Jennifer and Jessica and two great grandchildren; Sadie Grace and Valencia Rose.
