It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Maria Isabel, at the age of 96. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Suzanne (the late Claudio), Louise (Garret), Paul (Elvira), and cherished Grandchildren, Andrew (Melanie), Danielle (Afram), Dennis, Elyse, and Great-Grandson Lorenzzo. Maria will be fondly remembered and held dear in the hearts of all her Nieces, Nephews and her extended family. Predeceased by her dear Husband Manuel (2003) and her twin Brother Martin (Rita), forever loved and remembered by her youngest brother Albert (Marlene). Reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, and siblings. The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at The Village of Humber Heights LTC who took care of our Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

From the beautiful obituary, it’s clear she lived a long and meaningful life, surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. What a legacy she leaves behind. I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared and in knowing how deeply she was cherished by so many.
