elevated B6AaM Maria Massa Morgado, born on November 26, 1936, in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. She was 87 years old.

Maria moved to Canada at a young age to be with her husband, Manuel Morgado, with whom she shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2014. Together, they built a life filled with love, marked by Maria’s devotion to her family and her generous spirit.

An accomplished baker, cook, and professional seamstress, Maria dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming home. Her culinary talents brought joy to many, and she found immense pleasure in creating beautiful gardens . A passion She passed onto her children. She was known for her warm heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a cup of coffee while engaging in heartfelt conversations with friends and family.

Maria was a proud mother to two sons, Walter and Victor Morgado (Cindee), and a loving grandmother to Allegra(Sky), Casey (Cassie), and Sean. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate within her family and the many children she cared for throughout her life, many of whom kept in touch long after leaving her home.

A devout Christian, Maria lived a life of giving, characterized by her charitable nature and unwavering support for those she cared about. She touched the lives of countless individuals and will be remembered for her selflessness and the joy she brought to others.
