I met Maria in the early 70’s when I went to Toronto to visit Annie. She welcomed me with open arms. Over the years I got to know her well. A woman of integrity and honesty. You always knew where you stood with her. She worked very hard building her business. She was kind. She always wanted to feed you. She was strong willed. She always made me feel welcome and when I got married, she accepted Jerry into her fold. It was a privilege being in her life. We will miss her. She was a force to be reckoned with. She loved her family. We loved her. With heartfelt sympathy and love
