Michele Tenuta passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 10th after a long and fruitful life. Born in Rende, Italy on February 13th 1936, he was a talented tailor, car enthusiast, and an employee of Hudson’s Bay for nearly four decades. Michele will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Maria, his children Daniela and Michael (Eleni), and his grandchildren Nicholas and Leo. He will always be remembered by his siblings, Costantino (Francesca), Fernanda, sister-in-law Maria, brother-in-law Salvatore, and many nieces and nephews. Michele is reunited in heaven with his brothers and sisters who have passed before him; Francesco, Maria (Giovanni), Antonio, Dora, and brother-in-law Luigi.

Michele was so much more than a husband, father, and grandfather; he was a true leader and pillar of our family. His presence was a source of comfort and strength for everyone who knew him. He had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and at ease. You could always count on him to brighten a room with his infectious smile and warm spirit.
We will never forget his kindness and his unwavering support. He was a man of great character, highly respected and admired by all. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and integrity that will live on through each of you.
