elevated 8Hmf7 With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Onorio Fiore on June 30, 2025, at the remarkable age of 96. In Heaven, God has reunited Onorio with Anna, his beautiful and beloved wife.

elevated 8Hmf7 Onorio leaves behind a profound legacy of love and devotion, cherished deeply by his children: Maria (Ennio), Joseph, Linda (Fred), and Larry (Daniela). He was a proud and loving Nonno to his grandchildren: Alessia, Annalisa (Arthur), Daniel, Michael (Daniella), Andrew, Alexander (Alexandra), Luke, Stefanie, and Melissa.  His warmth and laughter also touched the lives of his great-grandchildren, Angelo and Chiara.

elevated 8Hmf7 Born in Casalvieri, Italy, Onorio began his life’s journey in the embrace of his cherished hometown. From there, he worked as an auto mechanic in Paris, France, before crossing the Atlantic to Toronto, Ontario. In Canada, Onorio took on numerous roles: a tile-setter, home builder, drain contractor, and high-rise building superintendent. Later, he resided in King Township enjoying his workshop tackling wood, welding and mechanical projects. His adventurous spirit led him to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, before he ultimately returned to King where he built a dream home for his family. He settled at his final home at Villa Leonardo Gambin – We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the caregivers who showed kindness, care and dedication.

elevated 8Hmf7 Throughout his remarkable life, Onorio embraced countless roles: son, brother, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, neighbour, and friend. His life was a beautifully woven tapestry of resilience, versatility, and unwavering love for his family, friends, and Casalvierani paisani. The name “Onorio,” given in honour of Casalvieri’s patron saint, St. Onorio, was a proud reflection of his deep connection to his heritage and the enduring traditions of his beloved hometown.

elevated 8Hmf7 We are deeply saddened that Onorio’s passing marks the END OF AN ERA—the closing chapter of the extraordinary generation of his parents Giuseppe and Maria Fiore and their ten children: Arcangela, Luigi, Francesco, Angelo, Valentino, Annetta, Adelina, Altina, Ava, and Onorio. Their extended family spans far and wide, with loved ones in Italy, France, Canada, and the United States. Onorio is now reunited with his parents and siblings, whose love and memories always remained close to his heart.

elevated 8Hmf7 Onorio built a legacy that will continue to inspire generations. He will be forever remembered for his fortitude, ingenuity, innovative thinking, and ability to bring people together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, including the countless lives he touched throughout his years.

elevated 8Hmf7 Rest in peace, Nori.
