elevated cK2mc It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosa Anna Volante (nee Sanges) on Friday, January 30, 2026. Rosa was born in Naples, Italy on November 15, 1933, to Luigi Sanges and Savina Francese. Rosa emigrated to Canada on January 14,1961, and immediately and earnestly started working to help support her family.

elevated cK2mc She is predeceased by Francesco Mario Volante (2020), her husband of 50 years. Rosa is predeceased by her siblings, Gennaro Sanges, Anna Sapio (nee Sanges) and Clementina Sanges. She is survived by her sister, Rosaria Vitelli.

elevated cK2mc Rosa was a devoted Mother to Antonino Volante (Angela), Patrizio Volante (Franca), Sabina Pirri (nee Volante) (Roberto) and Luigi Volante (Filomena).

elevated cK2mc Cherished Grandmother to Sonia (Tim), Stephen (Lisa), Sara (Dan), Michael (Carly). Gabriela (Andrew), Daniel, Alexander and Alyssa. Rosa will be held dear in the hearts of her Great Grandchildren Alexander, Lucas, Matteo, Oliver, Henry, Owen, Isabella, Audrey, Jordan and Rosemary.
