elevated r3jKD Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden yet peaceful passing of
Sabatino “Sam” Narducci, at the age of 73, on November 24, 2025.

elevated r3jKD Sam was the beloved husband of Donna for 49 years, proud father of Nadia (Joe Bruzzese) and Jason (Ivana), and a loving Nonno to his five grandchildren: Giovanni, Noemi, Francesco, and Santino Bruzzese, and Davio Narducci. Sam is predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Maria. He is survived by his aunt, Annunziata Ciccone, wife of his late uncle Antonio Ciccone; his mother-in-law, Giovanna Cristillo, wife of his late father-in-law Peter Cristillo; his brother Liberato (Susan); and his sister Linda (Rocky) Cristillo. He will be deeply missed and forever held dear in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Born in Macchiagodena, Province of Isernia, Molise, Sam immigrated to Toronto, Canada as a teenager with his mother, brother, sister, and grandmother to join his father. Though he left his homeland, Sam always remained immensely proud of where he came from. He often spoke fondly of his childhood in Macchiagodena with his brother and cousins, sharing stories of their adventures and mischief. A proud Italian, Sam raised his children to cherish their Italian heritage and reminded them that family and roots should always come first.

In his adult life, Sam was a dedicated heating and air-conditioning service consultant, a career he took great pride in for over 40 years. He excelled in his profession and received numerous awards and accolades for his achievements in the industry.

Young at heart, Sam was always ready to play, whether it was a game of Briscola, billiards, or chess with his brother, Lee. At weddings, he could always be found on the dance floor, especially during a tarantella. In his later years, his greatest joy came from his beloved grandchildren, who always knew Nonno was home by the sound of his whistle as he entered the house. He loved to tease them by gently grabbing their noses and could always be found playing with them just as he had with his own children—never saying no, whether it meant backyard hockey, running through sprinklers fully clothed, or basement gittoni tournaments.

Sam will be lovingly remembered by his wife, children, family and friends and will never be forgotten.

The Narducci family is deeply appreciative of all the support received during this difficult time. A very special thank you to the friends and family who helped support Sam and his family during his battle with Alzheimer’s, and to the compassionate doctors, nurses, and social workers of the Geriatric Unit at North York General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sam’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario.
