Salvatore Galloro passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025 at the age of 90. Salvatore was born in San Nicola, Calabria, Italy. He was the youngest of 5 children. Losing his father at a young age and witnessing his brother go off to war made him strive and want better for his future.
elevated Ar7jf Married to Perna for 69 years, he showed us all how to love deeply. They met in their small town where he relentlessly pursued her and they both chose to build a life together in Canada.
elevated Ar7jf Salvatore worked hard as a general labourer but at heart he loved working his garden and watching the fruits of his labour. He loved history, keeping up with the news and all things hockey and soccer.
elevated Ar7jf A proud father who raised 3 strong and loving children by the names of Maddalena (Michael), Giovanna Rosa(the late Paolo) and Paolo (Annette), who were by his side through all his trials. The smile on his face warmed everyone’s hearts when his grandchildren Vincenza (Adam), Perna (Michael), Elise, Rino (Chanel), Kandace (Adrian) and Sammy would come to visit. He loved being a biz nonno, the deep love he expressed to his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Addison, Tyler, Malia, John Paul, Celine and Aurora Rose left memories of a lifetime for all.
