In Loving Memory of Zia Silvia
There are souls who carry a quiet frequency—steady, strong, and unmistakably rooted in love. Our Zia Silvia was one of them.
She embodied the grace of her homeland and the resilience of a life well-lived across nearly a century. Her presence wasn’t loud, but it was radiant—felt in the warmth of shared meals and the depth of her devotion to family.
She has now returned to the Light, reunited with beloved Uncle Tony, wrapped in the eternal embrace of God’s infinite love. Though her earthly journey has come to a close, her soul sings on in all of us—through stories, laughter, traditions, and the countless unseen ways she shaped who we are.
To live 97 years is rare. To live them with such dignity, love, and grace—that is sacred.
We give thanks for her life.
We grieve her passing.
And we celebrate her soul—resonant, unforgettable, and forever near.
Soulfully and with love,
David, Roanne, Gillian, Sydney Rendimonti
Dear Linda, David, Christopher and the Mansillo Family,
So so saddened to hear about your amazing mum leaving this world. What an amazing life she led and raised such wonderful children!
She is watching you all from above and will continue to shower her blessings. May her soul rest in peace.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Anna, Linda, and Dennis,
Sending my deepest sympathies to you and your families. I hope that the many wonderful memories of your mom bring you peace going forward.
Your parents were always so welcoming to me when I visited your family home. I fortunately got to stay for dinner a few times and I more than once told your mom she could make even shoelaces taste good. She was such an amazingly talented person! I will remember her fondly.
Sending you love and strength.
Brenda
My cousins. Deep love to you. We want our family to live forever. Gratefully, we have that even now. The tributes above are beautiful. We had lovely wonderful gourmet meals together as well – and even the penny sliced hot dogs and green peas (speaking of shoelaces) when we were being babysat…were amazing. Yes. I remember.
Dear Anna and John,
So sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom.
Jordan and Camryn, may the memories of your Nonna bring you comfort and inspiration in the future.
Hugs and love and prayers
Jen and Scottie
Dear Zia Silvia.

I will always treasure those years and fondly remember your love and compassion.
You were always in my heart.
May God embrace you in heaven and may you walk in the Garden with Zio Tony.

I can remember having great conversations with her and her always welcoming hospitality.
I know how much she meant to you all and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.”
Dear Dennis, Deb,Taylor and the Mansillo Family…
Sending our heartfelt condolences to you all…
It is nice to know you will have many treasured memories to carry with you
Love Art and Lisa
I remember your mom making us the perfect Italian meals, pinching my cheeks, laughing and smiling at me. I remember running in the orchard, having your parents for afternoons while your dad grafted apple trees or picked pears with my parents. I remember your mom saying “Ton, you craz, Ton.” and laughing hard. I remember thinking your house was always perfect and wonderful — that she was brilliant, and that she had a lot to give. Always. I remember her telling me that she had another baby because she saw me with mom, and immediately wanted another one. Probably the only time I’ve ever had so much sway. She was dear to us all, and a huge (delightful) part of my childhood. So many hugs to you all, but particularly Anna, Dennis, and Linda. SO much love. God Bless you, and the many many Mansillos that have grown from her love.
Linda and Dave and Family. My brother Michael let me know yesterday of your mothers passing wow 97. That was an accomplishment. Nancy and I want to send our condolences .
Dear Dennis, Debra and Taylor,
So very sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and hoping happy memories are a comfort to you and your family during this difficult time. May she in rest in peace.
