elevated 1ewzo Our beloved mother and grandmother, Stella Stefania Zubowski, passed away peacefully at home with family on January 3, 2026, at the age of 90. Her greatest joy was her children, Louis (Maureen), Stephen and grand-daughter Leanne, who will forever cherish her love and laughter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stella was a devoted wife to the late Rudolph Zubowski, and predeceased by parents Kost and Anna Chimko; brothers, Metro, Sam, Peter, Andy and Tony; and sisters, Pearl Sorobey, Mary Dmetruik, Anne Krupka and Ollie Sandberg.

elevated 1ewzo A visitation will be held at the Assumption Catholic Funeral Home on Monday, January 12th from 9 AM to 11 AM, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, followed by a mass celebrating her life at 11 AM at the same location. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
