elevated GCVNM It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Stjepan (Stevo) Gunjila, 91, on Saturday February 7, 2026, at Credit Valley Hospital surrounded by his family.

elevated GCVNM He was a cherished husband of Dragica for over sixty-six wonderful years. Devoted and loving Tata to Carolyn (Guy) and Irene (Joe) and proud grandfather of Matthew, Lucas, Emma, and Joseph, who meant the world to him. Loving brother to Ljubica Crne, ujo to Zdravko Crne and family, tece to Marianne Sladic and Georgina Gaggero and their families, brother-in-law to Katica Gidija and family, and all kumovi, relatives and close friends in Canada, Croatia, and USA.

elevated GCVNM He had a long career at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) for 29 years before enjoying a fulfilling retirement with family and friends.

elevated GCVNM The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Ashley Oaks Retirement Home for their genuine and compassionate care.
