So sorry to hear of Auntie Bridie’s passing . Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of dear Bridie. She was a beautiful soul—full of kindness, grace, and light. Her presence brought joy and peace to those around her, and I feel blessed to have known her.
May her spirit now rest in eternal peace and I pray that those who mourn her are comforted by the knowledge that love never dies—it simply transforms.
Her memory will remain a blessing, and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.
Thank you so much Claire, Michael, Marion and I appreciate your beautiful sentiments and prayers.
Sincere sympathy on Auntie Bridies death. Ar dheis De go raibh a n-anam. Go raibh suimhneas siori da n-anam.

Thank you so very much for your kind thoughts,
You know what they say about mother-in-laws, well it didn’t apply to Bridie.
She was always welcoming and kind to me. A tasty ham and cheese sandwich was usually offered the moment I walked into her house. “Will you have a beer ? “, was often the next question.
What a proud and caring grandmother she was to Marian’s and my son Kevin. She would always ask after him. Her face would light up upon seeing him.
Then there was her energy. I haven’t seen a person in their senior years push a mower as fast as she did.
On one occasion when visiting her in the retirement home, it was 5 o’clock dinner time. I held her door open and she pushed her walker through. By the time i had got my coat and made sure the door was shut properly, I literally had to get jogging to catch her up before she reached the dining room.
A lovely person I will always remember fondly.
Rest in peace Bridie.
