elevated LynA5 Bridget Barnes (nee Foley), passed away in Peel on May16th, 2025 and was born on November 21st,1924 in Kildare, Ireland. Bridie was the beloved wife of the late James Barnes and leaves behind her children: Michael and Marian, daughter-in-law Marion, Grandson Kevin, loving sister Mary as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Mississauga for their kindness and care.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of dear Bridie. She was a beautiful soul—full of kindness, grace, and light. Her presence brought joy and peace to those around her, and I feel blessed to have known her.
May her spirit now rest in eternal peace and I pray that those who mourn her are comforted by the knowledge that love never dies—it simply transforms.
Her memory will remain a blessing, and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.
