elevated B4DPx Born on December 10, 1929, in York, Ontario, John spent his entire life in Southern Ontario, building a life rich in family, friendship, faith, and memories. The middle child of six, he was the last surviving member of his generation of siblings, carrying with him a lifetime of family stories, traditions, and cherished memories.
elevated B4DPx John was the beloved son of the late Giuseppe Brancati and Madeline (Della Rocca) Brancati, and brother to Frank, Mary, Sammy, Victor, and Bebe. He had a way of making people laugh, a knack for seizing an opportunity, and a spirit that kept him engaged with the world around him. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially fishing, which gave him countless hours of enjoyment and the opportunity to appreciate the outdoors.

For much of his life, John remained actively involved in his church and the wider church community, where he formed many lasting friendships. His faith, friendships, and connection to his community were meaningful parts of the life he built and the person he was.

His greatest legacy is found not only in the years he lived, but in the generations that followed him, the memories he created, the lessons he passed along, and the love that will continue through his family.
elevated B4DPx John was predeceased by his beloved son, Joseph, and his daughter-in-law, Nancy. He is survived by Joseph’s wife, Lynn, his son John, and his son David (Linda). He leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory and continue sharing the stories that made him who he was.
elevated B4DPx He will be lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren: John Brancati (Kendra); Michael Brancati (Lynette); Sarah Campbell (Chris); Johnny Campbell (Karen); Liam Campbell; Amanda Brancati; Brendan Brancati; and Nikita Brancati.
elevated B4DPx His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Payton, Kaelyn, Taylor, William, Declan, Olivia, Brianna, Brayden, Hayden, Nathan, Audrey, Dylan, Olivia, Chloe, and Jordan.
elevated B4DPx After 96 years, John leaves behind a family spanning generations, countless memories, enduring friendships, and a life story that will continue to be told. He will be remembered for his humour, his sharp mind, his love of fishing, his devotion to his faith and community, and the pride he took in the family he helped build.
elevated B4DPx Though he has taken his final rest, the spirit of John Brancati will live on in the laughter he inspired, the stories shared around family gatherings, the traditions carried forward, and the love that connects those he leaves behind.
elevated B4DPx A long life, well lived. A family, deeply loved. A legacy that will never be forgotten.
elevated B4DPx May he rest in eternal peace.

I have many fond memories as a child hanging out with uncle Johnny, making me laugh, sometimes making me crazy, but he definitely is a legend as I grew older we didn’t spend much time together but when we did see each other, it was always great. We always had lots of laughs lots of stories and lots of love I will always remember you, uncle Johnny and the laughter you brought into my life I wish my children would have gotten to know you better
Deepest condolences to the family and friends. Sending prayers during these difficult times,
Debby & Dina La Porta, daughters of Marie Ascione, John’s first cousin, daughter of Felicia Brancato
