elevated wa7gi It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing away of Teresa Infanti, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 71. Beloved wife of 53 years to Ernesto. Caring and devoted mother to Gordon (Maria) the late Gianpaolo. Proud Nonna to Gianpaolo, Emma and Matteo. Teresa will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends.
elevated wa7gi The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 2 to 4 pm and 5 to 8pm on Monday September 20, 2021. A Private Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Tuesday September 21, 2021 at 10:30 am. The final rite of committal and entombment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill). In Teresa’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our deepest condolences to all of you for the great loss of our beloved Teresa. Personally I will miss her immensely even though we didn’t see each other very often but the love was always there.
Knowing that she is reunited with your very missed Gianpaolo gives me some peace. She was a great lady. May she rest in peace.

Dear Ernesto, Gordon, Maria and family
I was greatly saddened to hear of my dear friend, Teresa’s death. as you know our friendship goes back many years and even after I moved we kept in touch. Whenever we would talk on the phone or during your visits to the beach, we would pick up right where we left off. We shared lots of laughs and chuckles in happy time as well as tears and sadness through difficult times. Teresa will always hold a special place in my heart. We will be with you in spirit on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. as you say your earthly goodbyes to Teresa and as we all take comfort knowing that she is with Gianpaolo in the presence of our Lord.
In the words of Thomas Moore “There is no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal”. It will take time. Lean on each other and hold one another up.
We wish you comfort in the myriad of special memories that you have of Teresa. May she rest in peace.
