elevated fd1Fn With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Sara Cosentini at the age of 81, peacefully on October 1, 2024. Born March 10, 1943, Vibo Marina, Calabria, Italia. Loving Wife of Corrado (d. 2011); Devoted Mother of Angelo (Maya), Teresa (Domenic), Cathy (Michael), Roberto (Natalia); Indulgent Grandmother of Joseph, Daniela, Stephan, Sara, Michelle, Andrew and Cristian; Proud Great-Grandmother of Luca. Sara loved her family, her grandchildren, travelling, flowers, her house in Florida and investing in the stock market. She was a pillar of strength and inspiration to all who knew her. She will be missed. The family will receive friends at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill L3T 3Z2), on Sunday, October 6,2024 from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name be made to Hill House Hospice.

We were so saddened to hear of our cousin Sara’s passing. She was an extraordinary person—known for her generosity, kindness, and the respect she earned from everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth and compassion touched my life and her absence will be felt by all who loved her.
