elevated ZZREr Obituary

elevated ZZREr Though our hearts are heavy, they are full of love as we remember our beloved mother and Nonna, Adalgisa Iasci (nee Gargarella), who passed away peacefully on October 4th at the age of 92.

elevated ZZREr Born on January 21st, 1933 in Treglio Italy to her parents Domenico and Rosa, Adalgisa was a loving wife, mother, Nonna, sister, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and touched all who knew her with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering strength.

elevated ZZREr Adalgisa was known for her selflessness, empathetic heart, and quick wit. She found joy in preparing Sunday lunch for her family, baking the best bocconotti, crocheting, and tending to her incredible garden. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

elevated ZZREr She is survived by her daughters Maria and Anna, her grandchildren Cristina and Michaela (Patrick), and her sister Filomena– all of whom will carry forward her memory and the values she so lovingly instilled. She now reunites with those who passed before her, including her beloved husband Michele and her sister Flavia, surely enjoying an espresso together once again.

elevated ZZREr A celebration of Adalgisa’s life will begin with visitation on October 8th at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on October 9th at 12 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Chapel, Holy Cross, with a reception to follow. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and honour her memory.
