elevated wpB8P February 2, 1962  –   May 25, 2026

elevated wpB8P Adam, beloved husband of Alicja Matusik. Loving and devoted father of Raphael and Sandra. The world’s best “Dziadziuś” (grandfather) to Arielka and Eliaszek. Beloved brother of Janusz, Krzysztof, Teresa, Wanda, and Alicja in Poland. He was predeceased by his parents, Marian and Czesława, and his sister Grażyna. He was also a beloved son-in-law to Cecylia and Tadeusz Dzierżak, who passed before him, and the best brother-in-law to Czesław Magierek and Agnieszka Bugaj. Adam was born in Węgrów, Poland, and later settled with his parents in Kobyłka.

elevated wpB8P He built a wonderful life in Poland with his other half Alicja , whose door he once knocked on while searching for an address, beginning their shared journey filled with adventure. Their life together started in Poland, continued across Europe, through Germany, and eventually led them to Canada. Here, through hard work that he truly loved, he kept moving forward with determination and a smile, never giving up.

elevated wpB8P His Canadian journey began in London, Ontario, and he later made his permanent home in Mississauga. However, the place he truly fell in love with was Tobermory, Ontario. He began his career in Mississauga, traveling a road marked by pain and suffering, but also joy and tears. He survived not one, but four serious accidents, yet he never gave up. He founded his own company and worked tirelessly as a professional driver.

elevated wpB8P Although he lived in Mississauga, where he bought a home, his heart always escaped to Tobermory, where he found peace in the outdoors and in nature. He also loved spending time with family and friends. He was happiest when surrounded by loved ones and close friends.

elevated wpB8P No one was prepared for such a sudden goodbye… Adam lived for his family, his work, and the people he loved. He left this world far too soon, leaving behind an emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him… He was a devoted husband, father, best friend and grandfather. A loyal and true friend. He will be deeply, deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.
