elevated X5cH0 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Addolorata “Dora” Dininio on January 11, 2026. Born on November 29, 1936, Dora was the loving daughter of Antonia Tersigni/Cappuccitti (Nee DiPoce) and Vincenzo Tersigni and stepfather Serafino Cappuccitti.
elevated X5cH0 Her love story with her husband, Anthony, was nothing short of extraordinary. Married on September 24, 1955, they shared 69 years of unwavering devotion, supporting each other and their children through life’s joys and challenges. Together they built a life rooted in family, tradition and an abiding love that inspired all that knew them.
elevated X5cH0 Dora’s proudest accomplishment was her family. Beloved mother and mother-in-law to Michael (Mary), Frank (Bernice), and Nancy (Allan Yarmoluk). Cherished Nonna to 4 grandchildren, Andrew Dininio (Vicky), Myles Dininio (Jessica), Sarah Dininio (Murilo), and Alexander Yarmoluk (Stefanie); and Great-Nonna to 2 great-grandchildren, Oliver & Florence Dininio.
elevated X5cH0 Adored sister to Maria Dodaro (Frank-d), Sandra Rubba (Gino-d), Tony Tersigni (Eba), & Antonio Cappuccitti (Barbara). Dora was predeceased by her brothers Loreto Tersigni (Gilda), Giuseppe Tersigni (Ermelinda) and Dominic Tersigni (Dorothy-d). Dear sister-in-law to Marlene Vaillancourt (Jack-d), Diane Corrado (Dominic), Danny Dininio (Diane), Joe Dininio (Andrea) and the late Frances D’agostino.
elevated X5cH0 Dora faced countless challenges in her 89 years, but she met each one with unwavering grace and determination. Her inner strength and ability to overcome inspired us all. As we mourn, we also celebrate the tenacious spirit that carried her through life. May her memory be a blessing.
elevated X5cH0 She lived a full life – surrounded by love, grounded in values, and forever etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She was admired, respected, and deeply loved by all that knew her especially all her nieces, nephews, cousins, caregivers and friends.
elevated X5cH0 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dora’s name to a charity of your choice.
A year after Anthony’s passing, we now say goodbye to Dora — the other half of a love story that shaped their family (and Daniela’s and my relationship) for decades. To Daniela, Dora was more than an aunt and godmother, she was a second mother who loved her like a daughter. I will always be grateful for the way Dora (and Anthony) welcomed me, and for what they did to shape the lives of Daniela and her brother Gino.
My sister-in-law, my dearest friend. Dora taught me to cook, sew and be domesticated; I taught her how to hang loose and be carefree. For many years, on a daily basis, we shared our dreams and sorrows. Before Christmas in 1972, when I was pregnant with my son, my friend got down on her hands and knees and washed all my floors. This gift touched my heart. I will always love her and feel grateful for the friendship we shared. Save me a place beside you,Dora.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that I send my condolences.
My name is Mary-Anne Lee, (O’Connell
I attended St. Raphael’s Catholic School, in Downsview.
I remember Michael Dininio well.
Michael had a bubbly personality with an infectious smile.
I have fond memories of the ‘Drop-in Night, held every Wednesday evening.
I believe it was held by the Women’s Guild.
One mother, taught knitting, boys who were musical, played their
instruments in a room, designated for them.
Mrs. Dininio, taught cooking.
Although I didn’t sign up for Mrs. Dininio’s class, friends who did, spoke highly of they sh taught and how delicious the recipes were.
May Mrs. Dininio Rest in Peace
And May ‘Perpetual Light’Shine upon her
And remain with her forever. Amen.

FMy deepest condolences to Michael, Frank, and Nancy, your mom was a wonderful person, we spent hours when at her house speaking Italian, watching her cook and had great laughs on a daily basis as Mike always let me engage with her mom as we were both born in Italy and Sora and Cassino were only a 100 k in central Italy. Always thought of Dora as a second Mother as we grew up as teenagers and always had something to do with my Best man Micheal. We will miss Dora and Anthony a second Family, Love Enzo Cece and Franca.
