elevated IL2UQ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adelmo Fini. Heaven opened the gates to a thoughtful man who touched the hearts of many and all who knew him. Adelmo exemplified admirable qualities of gentleness, selflessness and always wore a beautiful smile that lit up the room.

elevated IL2UQ Born on October 25, 1933 to Sisto and Agnes in Frosinone, Italy, where he spent his childhood before settling in Canada. He started his new life all alone. He was strong and very brave.

elevated IL2UQ In Canada, Adelmo met his wife and love of 64 years, Bianca. Together they embarked on a journey to raise their loving family of three sons. Adelmo was admired by his peers as a hard worker. He worked tirelessly to support his family and then went into partnership to own his business.

elevated IL2UQ Adelmo had the most brilliant mind, he spent his time reading historical encyclopedias and watching the news to know current events. Always on his feet, he was ready for any challenge that came his way.  He was known to his family as a man who could fix anything.

elevated IL2UQ Ready to embrace, cheers, dance, and play his accordion, he was seated steadfast at the head of every table, filling his home with moments of celebration. His music, like his smile and laugh, were infectious. Whether in the house maintaining his cantina and keeping an eye on his prosciuttos or working in the garden, he showed up to life every day, fully.  His presence illuminated all of his peers and inspired many.

elevated IL2UQ Ever loyal and devoted, Adelmo’s actions were propelled by his love for his family.  Everything that he did was in service of others and there were no lengths that Adelmo would not travel to for people that he loved. His generosity is unmatched. A profoundly compassionate spirit, Adelmo will always be remembered for his open heart and benevolence.

elevated IL2UQ Adelmo will be dearly missed by his loving wife Bianca and his sons, Carlo, Sisto (Mary) and Frank (Ana). Adelmo was a proud Nonno to Vanessa (Jason), Sara, Adam and Kathleen. His family will miss him until the day that they meet again.
