elevated W4Ylv It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Agostina Ciofani, nee Frigioni, who passed away on September 03, 2021, at the age of 88.
elevated W4Ylv Agostina, daughter of Alfonso and Lucia Frigioni, nee Sperandio, was born in Cerchio, Italy on August 21, 1933. She immigrated to France in 1955 and later to Canada, in 1971.
elevated W4Ylv Throughout her life, Agostina was a strong, independent, determined person who would go to any length to support her family and show her love. From her childhood to her old age, she has done many, many things including milking cows, raising rabbits, planting a garden, sewing clothes, knitting, working in a factory, offering to take care of all her grandchildren, cooking her specialties from Abruzzo and opening her house to visitors. It was with an open heart that again and again, Agostina’s message was to be kind; to value our faith, culture and family ties; to make us feel capable and to follow our dreams. Agostina was forever ready to guide, console, inspire all of us to the best of her knowledge.
elevated W4Ylv Agostina was predeceased by her husband, Domenico; her brother Emidio and her sisters, Maria, Maria Grazie, Antonina, Maria Domenica, Concetta; and her son in law, Rosario. She is leaving behind her sister Anna.
elevated W4Ylv Agostina is loved and cherished by many people including her children, Patricia (Dominic), Jean Noel (Zorina) and Nadine; her grandchildren Stephanie, Jessica (Jaren), Samantha (Vladimir), Michael and Kaitlin; her great grandchild, Owen.
elevated W4Ylv Due to COVID, a private mass and funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. If desired, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society. Family and friends can leave a sympathy message on the memorial page of Agostina.

Agostina was a beautiful person. We remember the first time we met her how kind she was. She went out of her way to give us all these delicious baked goodies she had made. You could see how much she enjoyed taking care of others. May God bless her and her family. She will be missed.
