elevated BLRWE June 1, 1950 – May 13, 2021
Immigrated at the age of 5 from Italy, with his Mom, Serena Fedrigo (deceased) to join his father Angelo Fedrigo (deceased) in Canada..
Teachers at school had difficulty pronouncing his name so nicknamed him Aggie. The name stuck. Throughout his life prior to illness, he was physically active, enjoying a variety of sports.
Aggie started working for Steinbergs (Metro) on August 17, 1970 till retirement on July 1, 2013. Aggie was a loving husband to Cheryl (Barker) for 49 years. He took great pride in his children Denise (Fedrigo) Albrecht & Mike Fedrigo. He adored his son-in-law Bill Albrecht & daughter-in-law Ashley (Laverdure) Fedrigo. His greatest joy was his four grandchildren, Ben, Mia, Charlotte & little Samantha.
We shall cherish him in our hearts.
Due to Covid, no funeral service will be held.
We are so very sorry. Aggie was a wonderful neighbour and such a wonderful man. His illness was so unfair. He is at peace now. We hope that many happy memories will bring comfort to you all.
I was saddened to hear of Aggie’s passing. In 1990 my brother and I lost our jobs and Aggie took us in. He was kind and treated us with respect, which we thought was the norm in the grocery business. Boy were we wrong. Aggie was a class act and a true gentleman. He will be truly missed. My condolences to his family. RIP Aggie
We are so sorry to have lost Aggie who was a wonderful man to all who knew him. We were honoured to be family to him. Our prayers are for his family to know that he will live in our hearts forever. RIP Aggie
Having worked with Aggie for 40 yrs in the grocery business, produced lots of wonderful memories and memorable Wed golf games. Aggie was the perfect “ People Person “ , always a story to tell or a comment to make, he would always bring joy into a room.
His enduring spirit will be missed, but not forgotten.
A Wednesday toast to Aggie will be in order.
RIP Aggie
Such heart felt comments to an amazing man. The good in him shone for all to see. We were blessed to say we knew him. May we always have a joyous memory when we think of him
I’m very sorry to hear of Aggie’s passing.
In October of 1977, Aggie hired me full-time at the Miracle Food Mart store at the Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough. I worked with him later at the White Shield Plaza store.
I remember him as a good manager who had time for the staff and the customers.
He was proud of his family and proud to be a Canadian.
We are very sorry to hear of Aggie’s passing.
It was easy to see that he had a wonderful spirit from the first time you met him and always a friendly smile despite any challenges that he faced.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.

I have a lot of good memories of playing hockey, slow pitch and golf with Aggie over the years. He was a good person and will be missed. My condolences to the family.
Many years ago, Aggie and I were store managers for Miracle Food Mart at the same time in Scarborough. He, Danny M. and I used to have a conference call most Saturday mornings to share our travails and some laughs. Cheryl, my condolences to you and your family. Aggie was obviously taken much too soon. He really was one of the good guys.
