Obituary

elevated bln9t After a long battle with heart and liver disease, Alan Robb Trimble took his last breath on Sunday April 21, 2024 at the age of 64 at his residence. Born in Toronto Township, (now Mississauga) on March 20, 1960, he grew up in Streetsville, Ontario with his parents, the late Alan Francis Trimble and late Shirley Lenore Trimble, along with his sister Nancie Craig (late David Michael (Mick) Craig).

elevated bln9t He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lidia Trimble of 32 years; son Alan James Trimble (Katie Trimble); daughter Regina Marie Trimble (Gary Mercer) along with his niece Jennie Campbell (Mike Campbell), great niece Lillie Campbell; and Auntie Jane Bentley (late Gord Bentley) and many cousins, family, former colleagues and friends.

elevated bln9t Robb began his career at Brampton Hydro on Nov. 17, 1980 as an Apprenticeship Lineman and later took on a Foreman’s role, followed by the role of Line Supervisor before he retired on Feb. 29, 2016 after 36 years of service. 

elevated bln9t He was a Member of The Royal Canadian Legion (Branch #139) Streetsville since 1982 and will be remembered by many for the good times shared, as well as his love for his best-furry-friend, Jack, and grand-puppy, O’Malley. He will also be remembered for his love of hockey and soaking up the sun, waterside.
