It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Alba Bigai (nee Pasut) on November 1, 2026, at Mackenzie Health Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, just shy of her 100th birthday. Alba was born on November 30, 1926 in Prodolone, Pordenone, Italy to parents Isaia and Regina. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Antonio. Loving mother of Ivana (Valerio) and Sera (Tullio). Proud Nonna of Steven (Brianna), Jeff, Julie (Santo), Jason (Joanne) and cherished bisnonna of Valentina, Giordana, Julian & Lorenzo. Alba will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother Sera. At 99, she lived a long and remarkable life, but I know that no length of time makes saying goodbye any easier. She must have been an extraordinary woman, and her love, wisdom, and memory will surely live on through you and your family.
Please know that you are in my thoughts during this difficult time.
