elevated 8BrPs Albert Micucci passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in Hamilton at the age of 86. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lucy. Loving father of Vince (Sandra) Micucci, Maria Shaw, and Anthony (Miranda) Micucci. Loving grandfather of Melissa (Alex), Daniel, Beverly, Abbey (Kylar) and Jordan. Cherished great-grandfather of Aria and Violet. Survived by siblings Enrica “Ricci”, Eva, and Peter. Predeceased by Pearl, Celia, and John.
elevated 8BrPs Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private funeral and entombment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home.

Very sad to learn of Alberts passing. We always got along great he was a great Father in law. He was one of the really good guy’s, Father, Grandfather, Husband.

I will miss my ‘Uncle Albert’. He was a life long friend to my father and as my Godfather he filled my life with many fond memories over the years as well. My prayers will be with you…. Eternal rest grant unto Albert …and let perpetual light shine upon you always…. May you rest in peace. Amen

Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. May the memories of your dad (grandfather) help ease the pain of your loss. Peter will truly miss his brother and partner in crime – among his many memories are those of their racetrack days – their wins, losses and misadventures will be with him for always.
My thoughts are with Uncle Alberts children and all those who knew him. We had a lot of interesting conversations a few years ago when i was doing some work for him and quite a few laughs. After losing my father John Micucci only a few months ago i truly understand the empty void this can create. Try and be strong , remember the good times and as time passes this loss hopefully will be a little easier to deal with . I fondly remember the great times as a kid we had on Gladstone Avenue and these memories will remain with me throughout time and i always smile when they return.

I am brought back to the time of many Micucci family Sunday dinners when I was growing up- taking place at various Miccucci homes in the city. Also the time we brought Mom up to Ricki’s to have lunch with the surviving family. Such a time of celebration- 7 siblings all united past or present- the spirit of “Family” will long live on in many subsequent generations.
The dead are remembered in 3 ways- for the works they do, for their goodness and for the people they influence to do good works.
