elevated FC6Dt It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alberto De Roma – beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend – who passed peacefully away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving daughters and wife.

elevated FC6Dt Loving husband to Giuseppina De Roma for 58 years, cherished father to Connie (Joe) Vitalone, Antonella De Roma, Lucy (Aries) Magali and Patricia De Roma.  Adored nonno to Robert Vitalone, Jonathan Vitalone, Luca De Roma-Magali and Alessio De Roma-Magali.  Alberto is now reunited with his parents Vincenzo and Consiglia and his brother Giuseppe and sister Anna Maria.

elevated FC6Dt  Alberto was born in Arcella, Avellino, Italy on July 31, 1943.  He immigrated to Toronto in 1966 and married Giuseppina in 1967.  He spent 35 plus years working for Canadian Tire and held those memories dear to the end.  He was an avid soccer fan and found every opportunity to cheer on his favourite team – Forza Napoli!  He took pride in his garden every year and grew everything from grapes to tomatoes and even his own fig tree.  He had a passion for all things Italian and could never get enough cheese, prosciutto and fine wine.  He cherished time with his grandsons and loved playing tombola, scopa and briscola.  He loved telling jokes and endless stories about growing up in Italy and his frequent trips back home.  Even as his health deteriorated, he loved spending every moment with his family and often asked when you were coming back. He always had a smile on his face and found a way to make you laugh.  His memory will forever remain in our hearts and our love for him will never fade.

elevated FC6Dt  Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, it simply means we will miss you, until we see you again.
