It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alberto (Bert) Montenegro, August 21, 2025, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Redempta (Reddie) Montenegro. Caring and devoted father to Alejandro (Stuart), and Anna (Peter). Proud Lolo of Jean-Pierre and Isabelle. Bert will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of his siblings, brothers and sisters in laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
elevated 0oJ3e Bert lived his life on his own terms, strong and independent with an unwavering devotion to the love of his life, Reddie, and with strong pride in his children and grandchildren. He was deeply admired by all family and friends. As someone with a passion for travel, eating different foods, and visiting gardens, we know that Bert will visit those far away places still on his list, while documenting those things that brought him joy, through his passion for taking pictures.
elevated 0oJ3e Bert’s love for his family was unconditional and without bounds and they take comfort in the memories made together from the incredible life he blessed them all with. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends and his memory, influence and guidance are things they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
