elevated dtEBd It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alberto Scalisi on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the age of 90.
elevated dtEBd Alberto was born in Salemi, Sicily, Italy to the late Vito Scalisi and Marianna Scalisi (nee Loiacano). Alberto is also predeceased by his brothers, Giuseppe and Domenico.
elevated dtEBd Alberto was a beloved husband to Maria (nee Carlino) for 59 wonderful years, loving father to Vito (Mary) and Marianna (Joe), and adored Nonno to Alberto (Elisa), Luca, and Alessandra. He was a cherished brother-in-law, zio, and friend to many. He is survived by his siblings, Antonino and Mario.
elevated dtEBd Alberto’s love for his family and friends was limitless. He embodied honesty, kindness, and generosity.
elevated dtEBd He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.
elevated dtEBd In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or Baycrest Hospital are greatly appreciated.

Zia Maria, Vito, Marianne and family, Zio Alberto has always been present in our lives. He will always be remembered as a kind and hardworking man. But his devotion to his family will be his most important legacy. He leaves behind a beautiful family, his most treasured achievement. I am certain he will continue to guide and protect you all from above. Something he has always done and will continue to do. That is certain. Love always, Cat, Fabio, Francesco, Allegra and Mitchell.

Carissima Signora Maria, Vito and Marianna, my childhood is filled with wonderful and cherished memories because of Mr. Scalisi and his kindness. He was a great man, respected by everyone who came into contact with him and I feel so privileged and honoured to have known him. I will miss him. Sending my love to all of you.
