Siamo rattristati da questa brutta notizia e vi siamo molto vicini. Pertanto vi formuliamo le nostre più sentite condoglianze . Un abbraccio forte a zia Mariae voi Rosetta e Melina.
Raffaele Galloro e famiglia .
Rosa Galloro.
I first met Al through my drum teacher when he and I were in our early twenties. Al needed a drummer for a jam session. A few years later we reconnected and became friends. Ever since then he would call to talk about music, inquire about the next jam and whenever the opportunity arose he would join us for an evening of fun. We’ll miss his phone calls and we’ll miss his great playing!
Since Covid began Al, Arnold, Paul and Steve stopped jamming in the basement. I missed those Saturday night jam sessions when tunes like “All of Me” by Sinatra, “Misty” and “Willow Weep for Me” would travel through the floor boards to where I was lazily sitting in the upstairs living room. It was a wonderful way to relax after a hard week at work. I’ll miss Al’s weekly phone calls where we would catch up on how he was feeling and what he was up to before I passed the phone over to Arnold who would continue their conversation about their favourite subject . . . music.
My sincerest condolences to the whole family.
So very sorry to hear about Al’s passing! He was a gifted musician and a gentle soul. My sincere condolences to the family.
