My sincerest and deepest condolences to the family for Alda’s passing. I’ve been Alda’s neighbour for over 50 years and she had become like a sister to me. I will miss her deeply. Alda may your beautiful soul rest in peace for all of eternity.
The words are few to describe the hole that you left behind dear sister. You took care of me and I did my very best to care for you. We fought side-by-side in the end. You earned those wings here on earth. Letting you fly high is one of the most difficult things I have to do.
I will love you forever and will try hard to feel you as you told me “I’m always with you”.
Your Pumpkin ❤️
Remembering Alda, it seems like a fleeting moment, but her personality had a profound effect on me.
She was a gentle soul, who has sacrificed her life for her family. Her sense of responsibility for her family ran very deep.
I met her through her Dad, who was my mother’s (Assunta) neighbour. I had asked him to buy one of his prized canaries for my young daughters.
After, his death, may he rest in peace, I became friends with Alda.
We had some things in common as older sisters who had widowed parents and a deep love for our siblings and parents.
To say that she was a special lady would be an understatement!
Strong, resilient and dedicated is how I remember her. Enjoying her gardening in a floppy sun hat, determined to keep up her father’s garden.
God bless her soul, may he welcome her with comforting arms.🙏❤️
And may her nieces and nephews remember to say a prayer for their loving aunt Alda.
Sincere condolences to the family, Pierangelo, Jacqueline, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Alda leaves a big void in their lives… she is not forgotten and continues living in our hearts and memories. I’ll miss her words of wisdom, didn’t get much to see her, but I was always happy to see her even if for a short time when I visited from Montreal
Condoglianze a tutti in famiglia
Riposa in pace Alda… non sarai mai scordata cugina

Dear Pierangelo, Jackie and families
It was so sad hearing of Alda’s passing. We were not prepared for this tragic event as Alda never complained about her deteriorating health. She handled her suffering personally with great courage. She was a true friend, always there when you needed her, always lending a helping hand, always living life with a positive attitude, always sharing her vast knowledge on any subject of interest. She will be deeply missed!
Our sincere condolences to all of you. May God’s love encompass and comfort you during this sorrowful time.
I did not know Alda well, having met her on few occasions through my nieghbour and friend Silvia. I found Alda to be a very intelligent, interesting and inquisitive. She had strong convictions about many issues in out world. Those are the individuals who can make a difference. She left a lasting impression on me.
My she God Bless her.
Rest in Peace.
Silvana, Gianpiero e famiglie
We were so sorry to hear of Alda’s passing. She was a strong, yet gentle person, with a big heart ready to help in whatever way she could. My mom and I spent many Friday nights with Alda back in the day, when my Nonna was living next door. Alda would join us for a cup of tea and sit, snuggle and play with one or both of my kids, their faces beaming the whole time. She was patient, kind, honest, and always encouraged people to follow their own path. I hadn’t seen Alda in a while, but we spoke regularly whenever she’d call for my mom. She always had interesting things to say, information to share, or advice to give. She always wanted updates on the two kids she sat with lovingly on my Nonna’s couch a decade ago… I will miss her, our conversations, and seeing her name pop up in my Inbox. Our deepest condolences to the family. May your memories bring you comfort. Rest in peace, Alda. xox
