elevated CjoM5 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alexandra on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
elevated CjoM5 Born in Toronto to her mother, Maria Luisa Zoppas, and her father, Victor Biasi, she is survived as well by her brother, Richard J. Zoppas, and extensive family in Veneto, Italy.
elevated CjoM5 With a passion for art history, nature, and animals, she was motivated as a psychotherapist by empathy and compassion to provide comfort to others.
elevated CjoM5 The family would like to acknowledge the sensitive and tireless care of Dr. Geoffrey Litner and the loyal disposition of Peter Cusimano.
elevated CjoM5 Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held at Chapel of St. Joseph – Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, Thornhill, Ontario on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:30 pm. A private entombment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery – Holy Trinity Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House Toronto.

I am so thankful to have known Alexandra and I will treasure those memories of her. She will live on in our hearts. Please know you are in our thoughts. We are so deeply sorry for your loss.
Alex was a bright light in our lives and touched me and my family deeply. Her passion for authentic living and genuine connection is the greatest gift she left us. A reminder that our time is brief but our impacts can be great. She is deeply loved and sorely missed.

Hi, I only know Alex through Pauline but her light has and always will be an inspiration. I am sorry that your family has to go throigh this difficult and tragic time. The virus has affected so many. Alexandra and I became very good friend. We had a chance to travel to Italy together and met your family. We made plan to see each other before Covid – I’m sorry that it was never happened. Although we had our ups and downs, I treasure the memories we had together. Please take care of yourself.
