On January 12, 2025, Alfeo Dumlao Mendoza passed away peacefully after a battle with chronic kidney disease in Toronto, Canada.  He was 83 years old.  Born in San Clemente, Philippines in 1941, he was the son of Francisco and Demetria Mendoza.  He is survived by his children Aurie, Eudessa and Almer from his first wife Merly; and grandchildren Patrick, Patrianne, Philrey, Kevin, Erica, Katrina, Aaron, Allyson and great-grandson Audren.  Alfeo is also survived by his son Allen and preceded in death by his second wife of 45 years, Eleanor, in 2023.

Alfeo is also survived by his siblings Purita, Cleofe, Neon, Ninfa, Xilia, Victor, Frank and Medardo, and was preceded in death by his brothers Adonis (Ruby) and Juan Vianney (Ben). 
 
A lifelong resident of the Parkdale community, he was a teacher by trade and made a career in the aerospace industry in Canada. Alfeo was an avid sportsman with a lifelong passion for basketball, volleyball and tennis. He was loved for his outgoing and gregarious personality, and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, friend and colleague.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.  The family thanks all for their prayers and messages of support.
