In Loving Memory of Alicia Abe Serafico
elevated e9I9G Alicia Abe Serafico passed away on April 18th, 2026 at the age of 87. She lived for her family, and helping her community, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
elevated e9I9G The first of 9 children, Alicia was born in Coron, Palawan Philippines and grew up the proud daughter of the town Mayor.
elevated e9I9G From a young age, she possessed a spirited independence & endurance, eventually graduating as a Registered Nurse from the University of Santo Tomas and leaving home to continue her career in Galveston Texas, USA.
elevated e9I9G When given the chance, Alicia was always ready to travel the world and moved to Toronto Canada where she spent the next 30 years working at Women’s College Hospital.
elevated e9I9G She was a voracious reader, crime show enthusiast and crossword puzzler. She touched the lives of many with her strength, wisdom – and her carrot cake.
elevated e9I9G Alicia is survived by her one and only husband Celso and her one and only daughter Melinda Mae.
