Following the Interment
I lived next door to Mr. and Mrs. John for over 30 years. We will miss him dearly. In all my life I’ve never met a man who was such a gentleman. The love he had for his family was palpable. I’ll miss his dry sense of humour. My whole family, local and abroad, who all got to know Mr. John over the years send their condolences. With hugs to the family.
Rose my dear girl accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your beloved Dad.
No words can ever express the relationship between a daughter and her Papa especially when she was the only child.
Please give your Mom a great big hug for me and let her know that she and the family are in my prayers. Peace and God Bless.

Dear Aunty Joan, Rose, Harry, Shauna and Alyssa, we are heartbroken at Uncle John’s passing.
One of my favourite memories is summer holidays with two sleepy-heads in the car (Aunty Joan and Rose), Uncle John at the wheel, both of us chewing spearmint gum and Uncle John telling me to roll down the window to smell the pine forests we were driving through.
Also, the best backyard BBQ chicken. Ever.
