Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Anastasia Delma Alvis, who passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, at the age of 86.
elevated Azwgo Anastasia was a loving and devoted mother whose kindness, strength, warmth, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, compassionate heart, devotion to family, and the love she so freely shared with all.
elevated Azwgo She is lovingly survived by her sisters, Neomi and Gwen; children, Chadwick, Tania, and Debbie; her sons-in-law, Kapila and Nalaka; her grandchildren, Menasha, Hashini, Mitchell, Navisha, and Deneesha; and her grandson-in-law, Eric. She also leaves behind extended family members and many dear friends who will cherish her memory always. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Elmo; and her brothers, Dicky and Claude.
elevated Azwgo Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
