elevated kpKC3 Obituary
It is with overwhelming sadness and profound love that we announce the peaceful passing of Sig. Angela Galluccio ( née Addabbo) in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She is predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Angelo Galluccio (Wednesday, March 7, 2007).

elevated kpKC3 Angela was a loving and devoted mother to Gianni and Marisa and an engaging mother-in-law to Kim and Marco, a nurturing Nonna to Cara, Jenna (Trevor), Michael, and Marco Jr. She is so lovingly remembered by her sisters, Donata (Lucio) and Damiana (Pasquale), and will be reunited with her sisters Maria (Pasquale), Antonietta (Michele), and Immacolata (Joseph).

elevated kpKC3 Angela will be greatly missed by her many loving nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy and her extended family friends in the Hamilton, Niagara and Rochester N.Y. areas and as far away as Australia.

elevated kpKC3 Angela was born in Molinara, a municipality in the Province of Benevento, in the Italian region Campania.  She was 1 of 6 beautiful daughters to Cosimo and Filomena Addabbo, she was the third eldest. She came to Canada in 1955 to meet with her older sister Antonietta, and together, forged a path for her other sisters Donata and Immacolata, to join them, and never looked back.

elevated kpKC3 Zia Angela, as she was known to many, had a wonderful life, some would say a simple life, but it was abundant in laughter, late nights and good food, with her family and paisani Molinarese.

elevated kpKC3 She had a passion for reading, her first book was the Count of Monte Cristo that her mother bought for her with what little money they had at that time, and that love of reading never left her, from recipes, to dictionaries to magazines and Word Search puzzles, right on up to reading tablets.

elevated kpKC3 She took immense pleasure in discussing Canadian and Italian politics, and finances with you, if you were so inclined.

elevated kpKC3 She was an elegant and confident woman, a funny woman, with a sharp tongue, and sharp mind, and boundless curiosity.  She was not a shy woman.

elevated kpKC3 She had determination, and courage and was quite independent, she loved to learn, do and see. Embraced all things new with keen interest, if she could learn it, she would, and did.

elevated kpKC3 She always said she is going to miss seeing all the changes yet to come.

elevated kpKC3 Someone recently said; “Zia Angela is really a special person…with that mental liveliness and with that light in her eyes that few people have, she has that extra something that once known, can only remain in your heart.”

elevated kpKC3 May she fondly remain in all our hearts.

elevated kpKC3 Mamma, may you rest in eternal peace and free of pain.

elevated kpKC3 Angela passed away at MacKenzie Health Richmond Hill on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the age of 93, 2 months shy of her 94th Birthday. Gianni and Marisa et al would like to thank the staff for their compassion and attention with her during this journey of reuniting her with loved ones that have gone before.
