Angela Ragadio Rivera, at age 101, passed away peacefully on January 1st, New Year’s Day, surrounded by loved ones at Humber River Health Hospital.
elevated 5dSF2 Born on October 1, 1924, in San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines, Angela was the eldest of six children and the last surviving member of the Ragadio family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Fructuoso Rivera, for 53 years until his passing in 1998.
elevated 5dSF2 She dedicated her life as a homemaker, caring deeply for her family. A loving mother to 11 children, a cherished grandmother to 19 grandchildren, a proud great-grandmother to 27 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandmother to 3. Her legacy lives on through the many generations she nurtured and loved.
elevated 5dSF2 Angela’s long life will be remembered for her quiet strength, resilience, contagious smile, playful spirit and her unwavering devotion and enduring love to her family. She now rests in peace, reunited with loved ones. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.

Angela was my cousins’ (Sharon and Jason) lola. I remember her to be so stoic and resilient….whenever I would be lucky enough to see her at the Rivera get togethers, I would be in such awe to see how strong and mindfully present she was as she approached 100….she would see me and smile and in that brief moment I felt special because I know she remembered me after so many years of not seeing her…I will miss her. ❤️Jhoanna
