It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Angelina Gallella (nee DeCicco) on August 19, 2026, at Markham Stouffville Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 89. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Rosario. Loving mother of Tony (Peggy), Josy (Nick) and Mary (Shahram). Proud nonna of Laura (Angelo), Natalie (Ben), Ross, Andrew (Sarah), Paul (Sukhi), Marc (Olivia), Michael and Vanessa. Cherished and adored bisnonna of Connor, Mason, Nicholas, Luka, Julian, and Gia. Dear sister of Franca, Giuseppina, Rosa and Maria. Angelina will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces and nephews here in Canada and Italy, as well as her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially tending to her garden and preparing delicious meals for those she loved. Angelina’s warmth, generosity, and love created a welcoming home where family and friends always felt cared for. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

We have lost an amazing aunt. I will always remember how much Zia Angelina always cared for me and my family. It gives me great comfort knowing that she is resting, in peace, in the most loving arms of her dear mother, Marietta.
